This was a fun project. A number of objects were placed in front of us and we had to focus on (I don’t know how to explain it…) the way 3D objects relate to themselves. There’s certain rules that you have to learn that make drawing 3D objects a lot easier and more uniform. And then we were also cementing in our brains what we learned about shadows. It was a lot of fun. My teacher would circle the class and every time she came to me she'd say, “Are you done?” I’d reply, “I don’t know, am I?” To which she’d say, “I don’t know, are you?” It was super confusing. Eventually, she taught me that I could take the highlights much further, I had no idea. So, after ruining several erasers I finally got there. She was so patient and loving, albeit intense. It was rather hilarious at times.
